Ex road racer, who had too many crashes for my employers liking. Bought an XR600 in 1998 and have not looked back. Got serious about off roading in 2001, started to ride Hare Scramble type races in 2002 and moved up to intermediate/clubman level in 2004. Rode in lots of Enduros, Hare and Hounds and MX races in 2002-2006, but the competive spirit is starting to wane with old age, so a fast trail ride does me now. Bought a 450EXC and a Gas Gas EC300 when we arrived in Perth in winter 2006, to make sure i had all the terrain bases covered. Latest bike update is that the Gasser and 450EXC went to new CQ home's in 2009 and a brand spanking new Husaberg FE570 has joined the family. Suffered a bad shoulder break in Dec 2009 and currently on an enforced layoff. Update April 2011. My loosing battle with the front end of a Holden Rodeo last month has battered me into submission and as of now i am retired from riding motorcycles (off road and road). Remember its dangerous out there and you may be killed or injured. *RANT* Spend all the money you have (or that Mr Visacard has) and get the best safety gear you can. Do not ride without it - it could save your life!

Stylin' or holdin' on?

Hate the ruts and slow, boggy going. Love the fast, open spaces where you can get the throttle cable stretched out. There is something so naughty about the CQ time trial area.
