A kind of ride

Just myself, TigeR and Eddie out there today. 175 clicks, it didn't feel hot on the bike as the air was cool, but I'm shattered tonight. Some nice tracks, good company and great to be out riding on a work day. C ya all tomoz TigeR Darin kind of called a ride. I kind of thought that’s a good idea. We met bright & early after tackling the Friday rush hour traffic on their way to work. It was surprisingly cool, Darin kind of had a plan to go from Metros to Bannister checking out some new tracks. We were ready for the off not long after 8am – Darin & Eddie were kind of shocked that I was first to be ready. Darin on the beautiful Beta, me on the trusty WR and Eddie well you all know what Eddie rides. By the time we hit Bannister for fuel & lunch, Darin had indeed pieced together an awesome ride – even Eddie was kind of impressed. A ham & salad roll never tasted so good. We decided to take the easy-peasy gravel tracks home. A couple of hours slip sliding away and we were back at the cars. The heat was on. We packed up, inhaled a couple of beers (Eddie never brings beers!) and were off to re-join the rush hour traffic on the way home, comfortable in the knowledge as to who had a better day at the office. I am kind of surprised to hear that you were shattered Darin? I’m all good, apart from the fact I kind of can’t feel anything from the neck down. Awesome ride Darin! a Christmas bonus to be riding on Fri 16-Dec. Beats working! |
