The Many Moods of Phil Tour 2005
with new member Bruce and Cameos from Andy WR and Ben.

Great Ride out through the CQ pines area to herald the first rains of the season. Phil lead a very interesting ride, Moods included "Sandy Phil", "Farmer Phil", "Prarie Phil", "Throttle stop Phil" "Forrester Phil","Agility Phil" and "Miner Phil". On the paddock section Nath pulled an awesome slide on the 160km old WR450 (merriman special) with road tires but couldnt recover the front end. SOTD was called by the relieved (that it wasnt them) specators Jed and Dingo. We then hit the cars for a drink and farewelled Nathan and his crook hammy.

When at the cars we bumped into Andy WR and his mate Ben on a Minty KTM125. They had found a great new Quarry to play in and were keen to tag along. Southwards we then went along the pine trail to Barbs and then along a narrow horridly whooped out sand track to the "new" Quarry, Speedway action and some Virgin carves in the floor of the quarry entertained the spectators on the banks. After several attempts we finally found a track to get us back to cars where Andy WR and Ben were left to carry on the good fight. New member Bruce showed thats hes forgotten more about bikes then Dingos learnt yet with a great debut on his KTM520.Phil got ROTD for 1)A very interesting lead and 2)Not stopping or dropping the Katoom all day! Overall it was a beaut start to the rainy season!
