Ride report, "Two Mike's and a Pike" HM, ktMike, Matt (new player) , Hooters, Ross, Jed "the beater!", Tommy and Too slow,
ktMike, matt and Jed were looking for a ride, I suggested going "on the books" and making it an official crusty ride at Jarradale. Mike and Jed ride there quite a bit and I've ridden there a couple of times so game on. Mike graciously offered to let us park at his house and start the ride from his huge back yard. *** just remember this is a public forum and be careful with peoples addresses and security, text and call only, don't post private info on the site, bike theft is going thru the roof and the pricks don't need any more help, hehe funny coming from the tech tard country bumkin kiwi but there ya go!!*** So boots on at the usual casual crusty mid morning 9 ish and off we went. Mike lead us thru great trails, the weather was nothing short of sensational, no rain and NO DUST!! Mr Pike the crustys token pensioner made an appearance, and his pace doesn't seemed to have taken a hit after the big tree last year. New tracks for a few of us the perfect blend of single track open trails and a few nasty hills to keep us honest. Massive shout out to mike, he's only been a crusty for a few months and he stood up and called a fantastic ride, a couple of navigation stops and quite a few crew out and about due to the long weekend. We had a back track to find a phone, lucky times for Jed, big sigh of relief there. We found some new tracks and a huge riding area I've been to once before. A few little off's, some muddy gear for some (Matt hehe!) and a hill that claimed a couple of victims. Great day out topped off with a few post ride beers- happy WA day!
