“ Wish I Was Camping ’’

So it was called then it was called off Woky, I think I copped all the shit for others who didn’t have the heart to go camping no names mentioned but a Friday night phone call sums it up. Why travel for 3 hours just to do a 60 km loop I agree with you JNR.

Anyhow Julimar was the call for the camp out when your not camping out. My apologies to the 2 names not included as I can’t remember all who attended. CRF Andrew called it and pointed us in the right direction for a loop of about 80 kms I think. Rothy was our sweep and a champ he was after being off his bike for a year.

We had the on and off drizzle for a lot of the ride but nothing to heavy. I can’t wait for my new prescription goggles to arrive so I can finally see things before I hit them. Some great challenges out there with some slippery shit just to keep us on the game. Some whoops oh how I love whoops not and a few hills and some tight single tracks to mix it up a bit.

“ Don’t tell me water crossings I know water crossings ’’

CRF Andrew mistakenly decided to recross the wrong water crossing and as the photos show it didnt end well for himself or our super sweep Rothy, I hope the plums have returned to their rightful place. After a lot of bush mechanics and a tow start from Bungas 500 we had the lead rider back in command. Glad I had a new tyre or I think it could have ended up a ute recovery job.

Unfortunately the down side to the ride was one damaged Husaberg and owner, I hope your ok Simon.
As for myself I am now pretty sure I have at least one fractured rib possibly two after stalling on a hill and falling awkwardly over onto a big rock, I’m blaming that bastard black towel caught up in my chain. Fancy some inconsiderate prick leaving their blow rag half way up a hill.

Anyhow back to the park up spot by 215 for a couple of beers and a bit of slagging off about a camp out that never happened. Great ride thanks to CRF Andrew leading and Rothy for sweeping. Enjoy next weekends camp out gents.

Bunga.
