Players: JNR, Tommy, KTMike, WR Ross, Geordie Baz, Jack With spring upon us and the primo riding conditions ever so nearing the end for 2018 JNR stitched together a 90 km ride to showcase the best of Julimar “The JJ-90”. The JJ-90 mashed together single trails with technical twin track and some gnarly hill climbs. To keep us salivating JNR tossed in numerous water crossing, blended in some sandy trails and sprinkled in a few whoop sections, voilà bone appetite to you. The group flowed flawlessly with minimal incidents. A lost airfilter shroud from Tommy’s bike was quickly located, Jack’s gear shifter rattled loose and hung in there on ½ a thread and KTMike’s rear bearings were threatening to disintegrate and spoil his ride. Still plenty of water at creek crossings, so caution prevailed as the mental scares from drowning bikes in Northcliffe had not healed for some of us punters. Free entertainment was provided for JNR and Ross at “Dummy Spit Hill 2 ” where ballsy hill climb attempts by Tommy, Jack, Bazz confirmed the chicken run option was a wiser choice to take. Except for KTMike who flawlessly climbed the hill after some coaching from Tommy on the best lines to take and exemplary feathering of the clutch. A great ride had by all, thanks to JNR for putting together a tasty selection of trails and Baz for sweeping from start to finish and licking the plate clean. Do your palate a favour and don't miss the next " JJ-90" Thanks for the Julimar ride yesterday to those who came along conditions were perfect, thanks to Tommy for his help & Baz for the sweep, enjoyed myself at the front for a change to let the guys have a play in the middle as they have given me many good rides out with the guys playing round & not having to worry bout anything, hopefully we can get a few more leaders on board to mix things up for everyone & don’t stress if u call & lead a ride they r always there to help out & point u in the right direction.
