Kennyv11 put it out there for a Thursday ride to pop his Crusty Quinns cherry we mucked around with the location a bit then settled on Woky. With not many takers we thought we would be relying on Acid Gloves Eddy for support but Dazzam contacted me on Wednesday night and said if everything works out okay he might be able to join us.

Kennyv11 and I started reasonably early and I did my best to string together a loop with my dodgy navigation skills. No search parties called and back at the cars at the prearranged time to meet Daz for Loop2.

Daz lead Loop2 which took the pressure off me, we fired up the bikes and started to move and a very long Dugite slithered across the track in front of us right at the Crusty car park. We rode a good variety of tracks, Daz and I threw a lot at Ken, he drained his Camelback and his fuel light was on but he did a great job and he did 110 Woky k's. Hopefully he's looking forward to the next one.

I had a great day, thanks Daz for leading Loop2 and thanks Ken for a good ride.

Thanks to Dave and Daz for the ride today.
It started off with Dave as Daz was working. Dave took the lead out from the parked cars and we came across "Drain Pipe Hill" I think it was called but I recognised it from the Adventure Rally from 8yrs ago but the drain pipe that once was across the track has now be tossed to the side by 4X4's that have destroyed the hill climb.
On the way down, I over balanced and couldn't put a foot down and ended up ejecting to find myself on my back a few meters down below my bike sitting in running water in the rut and smelling like a piggery. It stunk really bad and my dogs seemed to appreciate the smell when I got home.
We headed back to meet Daz and went again on the other side of the bush.
It was a little dusty but somehow, there were bike swallowing holes smattered along the tracks. Not sure how Daz does it but somehow he remembers all of the tracks.
With two weeks off of the bike, I was very rusty and it was about the 85km mark of the 105km ride that I started to get comfortable on the pea gravel and goat tracks but better late than never.
I am so sore all over and despite cycling a lot, my legs are cooked. And blisters, arm pump, sore neck, sore ass muscles....
Look forward to the next outing and thanks for taking me out for a burn Dave and Daz.
