Pub with no Beer
Players: Mickkal, Jacko, Bigles, KTMike
Mickkal called a ride, Jacko rolled up with a very shinny new stead ready to run in the new bike, with that in mind after a quick pep talk by Mickkal we were off. A couple of hundred meters of blacktop then onto the dirt, let the adventure begin. We started off with nice flowing leaf covered tracks that rendered little dust, it was soon evident the tracks had not been used in some time. We stopped on top of a scenic rock out crop for a photo shoot. The rest of the day comprised of very overgrown tracks that kept the dust down, a slippery creak crossing that lead to a surprise hill climb to keep us honest, followed by more flowing and overgrown tracks with plenty of logs to jump and fallen trees to find a way around. There were no recorded mishaps, The newest bike didn’t manage a scratch, there were claims of an off, however no one saw it, thus it must not have happened. All back to the car park safe, 92KMs traveled, and the usual bullshit however this time without beers as the pub was temporarily closed (again). Thanks Mickkal for planning, calling and leading the ride, a great combination of trails. Everyone had a turn as sweep, Great ride had by all. Cheers KTMike    |
