Winter is coming ride
Winter is coming ride.
Riders- MickKal, Jnr, Jacko, KTMike and Mark The Bom site showed a big dump on the map around our favourite NE hills riding area so midweek I optimistically called a ride. A hardcore pack of 5 showed up at 8:00 to be greeted by a dusty carpark. oh well another dusty ride then. Decided to do a different loop without the hill, so we all headed off into the usual tracks, the creek run was dry and dusty but still fun. Then the further north we got the less dusty it became and the everbody got excited when we seen the first puddle. Mike had to restrain himself and not have multiple goes at it, turns out that most of the northern tracks had got plenty of rain and dust was much better. Mark was doing well on the honda 250 and even jnr had a go on it. Had a go at a very old single track that was getting very overgrown, so will have to earmark for some future action. All arrived unharmed back at the cars for beers and a yak. About 93klm on the odometer and I only had about a cup of fuel left where as Mikes 300 still had about 3 litres left ? . Thanks for showing up guys very enjoyable. MickKal Cheers for the ride today lads very enjoyable with a great bunch, well lead Mick awesome tracks, had a blast on the 250 had to ring its neck to keep up & was knackered afterwards so the beers went down nicely.
