Pete's rainy Nannup ride
huge few days for me, extreme single with "west coast single" boys Friday, all the shenanigans with you guys Saturday and a 4am alarm today followed by a 3hr drive to Nannup to join pete and the crew.
"Pete's rainy Nannup ride" Hooters, Pete450, Dave too slow, Coger & Wobbles Pete called a sunday ride in Nannup, I was on the fence but then wobbles signed up- recently outta retirement so it was game on- lucky I'm young- I'll sleep when I'm dead. 8:30 boots on we headed off into the rain- it was a great day with a few showers but bloody slippery, pete lead us on some great single, some killer hills and some open 4wd tracks for a breather when needed great ride, no real drama or nothing a cable tie and a doner bolt couldn't fix- who needs all the triple clamp bolts anyway! wobbles was doing it tough after a couple of years off the bike but dug deep and finished the day. Great day, big drive for me- would I do it again as a day ride mmm maybe but woky might be better- kinda half way for all of us. Overnight faaark yeah great trails down there, hills thrills and spills. Bring on the Wobbles camp out!! Thanks heaps Pete for leading us around great day ps, saw martin at a bunbury servo just by coincidence , he's out for 6mths with a shagged knee get well soon bro |
