BUSHWHACKING

MickKal again did not disappoint and the drive out a little further to the back of The Lakes kept the rider numbers down to five and sorry to “everybody” that didn’t come, you missed a good one.
Booted up MickKal’s bike ceremoniously kissed the ground before we even took off and this set the theme for the ride.

The Terodactyl’s were hunting us and I was first to be grabbed from behind and dropped to the ground, then Jedd twice and also Jacko. Tommy was spared as the sweep and rode solidly all day.

MickKal lead us through 80km of single track, where some of it was just the best I’ve ever ridden. Along the way we stopped at vantage points to admire the views across the valleys and talk front tyres. Back at the cars by 2pm, a few beers and on our way home sore, knackered and smiling.
