A tiny bit of rain so I call a ride to test my new suspension out.
What I've not told anyone is it's all wrapped up & surrounded by a new 2020 model 450.
Only myself & Ross could make the mid week ride so we meet at mine then a quick drive to the parking spot.
8.30 am & it's already warm with so many flies.
I head off to try & tie in a shortcut from the previous ride down here, easy & sorted.
Next it's straight into the single trail heading over to another spot to try & find a track from a ride years ago that was all deep puddles, no luck, it wasn't where it should have been.
Oh well, onto some more single, send Ross across the bridge first then onto some really overgrown stuff.
Head down around Lake Brokman & find some more new bits then it's some whoopy single & back to the cars as it's warming up already.
All up a quick 50 klm's on a Wednesday morning ain't a bad way to start a day.
Couple of beers at the car then lunch at the Drakebrook.

Compared to the '09 model, it's going to take some getting used to, a totally different ride, power & handling, but fun.
