MickKal - Thanks to the riders who showed up for Saturdays ride, nice conditions and good tracks besides that sketchy one which wasn't really there anymore. Its now been cancelled from basecamp.
Good news was that I did spot a new single track near the end but unfortunately a couple (USATommy & Bunga) were too low on fuel to map it out, job for another day. Jacko was Supersweep as usual and he even convinced his neighbor Rob to come along on a vintage 2006 ktm. Scratch also showed up riding the same Husaberg and with the same brake fluid he had 10 years ago!! Then Jack stole the show and reversed his car into a tree in front all the boys while they were having beers. No meaningful damage because it was a work car, but it has to be SOTD for Jack.

Jack - Great ride Mick, you’ve put together the best of the best at Julimar. Drilling is still contained on adjacent farmland, so no Julimar bush has been excised yet. USA Tommy downsized to a two stroke and rode like a trooper all day and managed to run out of fuel twice, how’s that for a tpi300 !
Scratch hasn’t been out for 10 yrs and you wouldn’t know it, unfortunately his rear brake kept boiling, maybe the brake fluid constituted more of water being idle for so long. Thanks to Jacko for swepping and yes I backed the work Ute into a tree (no damage) .

Bunga - Mick, thanks for another great ride I always feel like I’ve had a ride with you at the front end. It’s the first time I’ve been back that way since I stuffed my ribs a few years ago and I actually enjoyed it with a few close calls and one very close call with two white gums when the rear decided on a 150 degree turn.
Washing and servicing the bike I noticed I lost a rear wheel spoke so add a replacement to the plan and check and tighten all spokes before Greenbushes
Starting to like the 300 and far less fatiguing than the 500

Jacko - Thanks for another great day of riding yesterday mickal and crew. Have a good trip to greenbushes guys we will be heading home then.
SOTD Jack. Hope you’ve reported the incident
