No idea why we were all soaked with no rain on open tracks

Thanks to Pounce for leading the ride on a nice dry Sunday morning the fast open tracks that you promised will be good fun IF you ever find then lol
I have never been so wet riding a bike on a lovely dry day and not falling of on a river crossing
Bashing through the virgin bush with all the rain still on the leaves was good fun and every time we had to hop over fallen wet logs it was 50 50 that it was going to end wrong, but no one got hurt and it was entertaining we cut the ride short as we were all soaking wet and getting cold a few beers after then the drive home.

So all the flowing open tracks I surmised we'd be riding turned into very overgrown guesswork with trees down everywhere.
We honed our skills on slippery tracks, slippery logs, boggy peat, & water, so much water.
As the guys said, I can't believe how wet we got on a sunny day. Every bush shed its gallons of water onto us as we bashed our way through old tracks that haven't seen bikes in a long long time. Every downed tree meant finding a way passed which meant more water down our necks.
My hands were dyed black from my gloves, I poured at least 300ml of water out of each boot but it was a great ride regardless

Thanks to Jnr & Tommy for a good ride & yes my fire was still burning when I got home so I got warm quickly.

I'll say it again, there are so many unused & old tracks down here.
