Julimar, 9 of us booted ready to ride. Me leading, (kind of) Bunga sweeping. The work experience kid was in charge of the weather forecast again, sposed to be showers was fuggin rain for most of the morning so getting changed in the rain, riding in the rain and changing in the rain, not heavy but ….???/span
We headed off down the fence, oh 9 bikes only 1 four banga!, a blast along the track to my usual single then we headed north to the hills - with Tommy helping with directions we were trying to dodge the usual way and huge puddles, a lot of open trails good for a blast with plenty of stops for directions and durries. A brief stop for a gear lever for Bunga, luckily Tommy had one. That’s definitely something someone in the crew should have ktm gear lever - woulda wrecked Bunga’s day but it was a five minute inconvenience thanks to Tommy. We were about as far from the cars as ya can get and the trusty four banga, embarrassed to be hanging with the two smokers decided it needed a wee rest. A bit of humming and harring and battery swap was decided on- luckily we had a sparkie ????? ? the non sparkies swapped battery’s with mine the only carby bike with a kick start. Lost about half an hour I reckon but both bikes running and both bikes charging so a mystery there. We headed back just in case Tommy leading, stressing a bit bout his bike dying- the rest of us having a fat time in the pack. A few small get offs a few submarines but not real drama. There was talk of a round 2 after dropping Tommy but we arrived back all soaked but happy, just an all round fun morning. Beers and parmi’s at Bullsbrook.
Cheers for the help Tommy, Bunga for sweeping
Hooters

Yes it was a good fun ride in the mud and rain. Googles well they went out the window about 20 minutes into the ride and I was blind as a bat for the rest of the ride. Thanks Tommy for coming to the rescue with a gear lever to get me through.
Thanks to both Hooters and Tommy for the lead. I guess being the sweep no one got to see me submarine my bike in the last 20 minutes of the ride thankfully it went over on its right side so it didn’t ingest any water unlike the rider.
Great morning out and thanks to everyone who showed up.
Bunga.
