Great twisty Single Trail. Mintox conditions and a good field.
Quote of the day goes to the MA Steward "Did you see that guy riding off in the neck collar ???"
ROTD: Was awarded to everyone who completed all 4 loops.
SOTD: Went to Steve525 for his excellent dismount coming into control at the end of loop 2. I believe it was a 2 1/2 somersault with a 1 1/2 twist. Special mention went to KX Steve for deciding to not bother reporting to the final control at the end of loop 4 and having 3 officials waving and yelling directions at him.

THE LADS BEFORE THE RACE - THIS IS ABOUT THE TIME YOU START FEELING NERVOUS.

The first loop was quite tight with virgin bush trails, gully snakes and some whooped and established single trail. A near vertical rock wall was thrown in to sort the experts from the hacks. A bog hole on the first loop also caused some consternation, Gazza decided it was a nice place for a relaxing swim with his katoom on top, i believe he might still be there. Sweeps were sent out to direct people around on the second time through.

The second loop was a lot more open with the odd bog thrown in. A lot more enjoyable by reports.

GAZZA SAYS "IT IS BLOODY HARD OUT THERE"

KXSTEVE SAYS "WHICH WAY TO THE FINISH LINE"

STEVE525 SAYS "I AM STUFFED, WHICH WAY TO WOODY'S FOOD VAN, I COULD GO AN ENDURO BURGER OR TWO"

COL SAYS "DID I MAKE IT AROUND UNDER TIME"

JAYBO SAYS "CAN'T A MAN HAVE A LITTLE PRIVACY IN HIS TRAILER BEFORE A RACE."

A Great day, relatively incident free for the Crusty Boys. Trail time was a bit light on so most of the boys only had a few minutes between loops which meant the enduro was like riding a four hour pony express in the Iron man class with a special test on each lap. Well done to KXSteve who came in totally stuffed on the third loop with only a minute up his sleeve and still pressed on to complete the event under time.
