Grant called a ride down to Nth Bannister and two legends and a dozen other miss fits turned out for a top days ride through some awsom country. Mostly goat trails with a nice little rocky climb and quite a few mud crossings that stopped a heap of bikes. Grant picks up ROTD for leading us around a big loop without even getting lost.

JUST OUTSIDE NTH BANNISTER.

THE RIDERS MEETING. COL GETS UP ON THE TRAILER AND REMINDS EVERYONE THAT MOTORCYCLING CAN BE DANGEROUS.

The first loop took in about 50k's. A small but nasty hill climb took its toll on nearly every rider. Some just came to a holt, others hit a black boy or tree, some even needed a hand to get the bike to the top.

TIGER GAVE IT A GOOD SHOT AND WAS ASSISTED BY GRANT TO GET THE BIKE MOVING AGAIN.

AFTER THE HILL CLIMB THE BOYS NEEDED A 5 MINUTE BREATHER.

There were some great mud crossings as well. Apart from others I saw KX Steve up to his axles in mud, as well as Tiger, Col and Rob.

HOWARD THROWING UP A GOOD MUD ROOST.

COL WENT DOWN TO THE AXLES AND HAD TO DRAG THE WR OUT.

The group ended the first loop at a nice little sand track where the boys hotted it up and put on a good show. There was plenty of action with one small group really mixing it up.

THE LADS REALLY TURNING IT ON. AND WHATS IN FRONT - A BLOODY 2/STOKE.

IS THAT TIGER OUT IN FRONT GIVING THE BOYS A RUN FOR THEIR MONEY.

OOPS - EASY DOES IT - KEEP THE BIKE UP RIGHT AND FACING FOWARD.

NOW ITS CRAIGS TURN TO SHOW THE BOYS HOW TO DO IT.

THAT BLOODY WR IS IN FRONT AGAIN.

After the first loop it was back to the trailers for a BBQ and a chat about the days ride so far. The guys really liked the new riding area and can't wait to get back down there again. I must say, riding with the Crustys is fantastic. The moment some one has a problem of any sort there is plenty of hands on to help out. Being helped over rocks or dragging the bike out of a mud hole, you don't even need to ask. Well done fellows.
