7 Crustys turned out for a top days ride and met a couple of new guys, Blake and David, who came along for the fast flowing 135 k ride. There was plenty of mud, lots of logs and rocks and heaps of new trails that were fast with good berms on the corners. Col and KX Steve lead the boys through some new terrain not before ridden by the Crustys, relying on Steves GPS to get them home.

One of the new guys, Blake, picked up SOTD after loosing it on a corner and going over the bars at a pretty good speed. He got up, shook himself and said "shit my thighs hurt", got back on the bike and gave it heaps. Looks like he could be a real Crusty.

The boys did two good size loops knocking up about 135 k's in total. KXSteve run out of fuel not far from home on the second loop and was rescued by Grant who always carries a few litres of that funny fuel. Antony put on a couple of good displays for us. He stepped of the bike on a nasty little rock climb and needed help to get the bike of him and at a rather muddy crossing put the bike down to give it a rest in the water. At the same crossing Col got stuck for a moment and KXSteve got a bit to close behind him which resulted in the best mud roost I have seen in a long time. Steve525 came up the rear today riding sweep and making sure everyone kept moving.
