Sawyers Valley power line run.

The bikes were unloaded and the boys booted up by 7.30. The temperature was still nice and mild and although the track was a little dusty, it was still comfortable with only a small group. The ride was relaxing and incident free taking only an hour to cover the first 50 k's down to the "secret" location. The small creek bed at the end was all but dry so we had a good ride up it for around 5 k's. A perfect little well used goat trail at this time of the year.

A REST AT THE HALF WAY POINT. LUCKY EDDIE WAS THERE TO TAKE A PIC FOR US.

JOHN525 HAVING A GO AT ONE OF THE MANY RUTTED OUT CLIMBS.

JOHN525 JUST LOVED THOSE CLIMBS.

We were back at the Lakes Road house by 9.30 for a short break, refuel and something to eat. A leisurely ride back to the cars, with a stare from some boys in blue as we re-entered the bitumen. The brake lights came on but they obviously had better things to do and kept on going. Not a bad ride this time of the year in a small group.

BRECKY AT THE LAKES ROAD HOUSE. EDDIE BEING A BIT SHY OFFERED TO TAKE OUR PIC AGAIN.
