Powerline run.
Powerlines Ride Report
5 riders turned up for a run down the powerlines. Clive,Fernie, Gary,Harey, John525. Took of down the first hill in what felt like riding through clouds, Just so much moisture around i had to take off my goggles so i could point the way for the other riders. Started of a bit slow with Clive turning back after just 3.5km with suspension problems. The other riders enjoyed a perfect ride out to the Crusty's secret spot and a blast down that awesome track out their. There was just enough moisture around to make that track one of the best. The normal trip back to the Lakes for fuel and a rest. We then decided to go back down the powerlines again out to the farm area (the conditions were perfect)and doubled back towards the water crossing where Harey took leed and showed us a grass track which he called Harey's Adventure Park. We finally made our way back to the cars after clocking up 128 km. Not bad for a half days ride. No major off's except Gary showing the WR some gravel after loosing the front down a rut. |
