Powerline run

The chirping started early with Brett, Lindsey and Paul parking in the sunniest spot they could find at Lakes Roadhouse. I convinced them to see it my way and they agreed to find a shady spot to park the cars. The whoops were a handfull for Paul on the DR250, but eventually he got the hang of em. Brett took over the unfamiliar lead role at the creek and proved he's not just a pretty face. We decided not to work the new guy too much and after about 10 k's down the creek we turned around. Lindsey and I took the scenic route through the creek, and had a good couple moments before reaching the powerlines again. We had a couple 4x4's coming the opposite way , as well as two bikes that came screaming past in one yellow flash. All in all a decent ride with little dust, no serious incidents and ROTD to Brett for showing he's not as old as he looks. SOTD goes to Paul on his first ride, just to keep the awards in the family.     |
