Report by Choko -

Even with hot and dry conditions forcast, a large number of riders still rocked up. There were 11 regular crusties,
Beau, gazza, lethe, wradrian, neil, col mc, Deets, wez, mick450, chris510 and myself(choko). 4 new guys also rocked up they were ktmsteve450, ktm andy, wr roger, and Geremy.

We had set off early with neil taking the first shift at lead, and Beau putting his hand up for sweep. We headed to the main powerline track then took a left and started to head towards the creek, the dust was bareable but the sun was like someone was shinning a spotlight in your face. It didnt take long before we had are first SOTD canidate, Geremy had lost control on the sandy straight which saw him come off and also ripped his indicator off.
Once at the creek we had a short stop and a quick meeting, It was then decided that chris510 would take over as lead because he is most familar with the tracks, we had also voted that we would ride half way down the creek and then turn off to the single trails we all love. With 15 blokes going hard there was a bit of dust in the air and the regroups were slow but i think everyone would agree that its sooooo worth it. There were also a few more blokes putting up there hands for SOTD. Deets had a few laydowns and wr roger had a big off from what i was told. So the creek had done its job but the fun didnt stop there, the single trails were awsome as usual and at the end of it we had another short break. We then decided that chris would lead us to the quarry(play area) with the big hill that a few of us have attempted. Once there Wez showed us how easy it was to get up, which convinced me to give it a go. Well it took 2 attempts but i did it!! All the boys gave me a cheer and i had a pretty big smile on my face.
We then moved on along the gravel road which led to the sand tracks or what i like to call whoopsville! At the end of the sand tracks we had decided to follow the creek back, it was there we met another 2 regular crusties Grant they were going to show us some other tracks but they couldnt seem to find them. By this time everyone was starting to run out of steam and we decided to just keep following the creek. So it was a nice cruzy pace back to the start of the creek and then back on to the power line. we decided to take the loop around the main track which is a much more enjoyable ride. There was no more real dramas to report, we all enjoyed an easy pace back to the lakes.
Personally, i had a great ride with an awsome bunch as always. Thanks to everyone who came along.
