- SHORT RIDE REPORT- POUNCELINES
After 5 weeks off i couldn't wait another week, so i called a pounceline ride. I wasnt expecting a big crowd because i figured a few would be still recovering from capel, and thats exactly what i got. Only 3 crusty's rocked up to take on the pouncelines, and i just have to say what a pleasure it was to officially meet Acid Gloves Eddy, He's a realy nice bloke but doesnt realy talk much! The other 2 were of coarse myself and Roger. For those who dont know Roger is actually off back to Wales to live, and he's leaving next Thursday so this was his last crusty adventure. I rode lead and roger volunteered to go sweep, which left eddy doing his own thing in the middle. We rode at a nice constant easy going pace just enjoying ourselves, with no pressure or dust to battle with. The tracks were perfect and though i missed a few turns here and there we seemed to get around quite easy. There were no major inccidents to report, it was just a fantastic way to start the weekend. All the best to you Roger, I hope everything works out for ya, and dont forget to still post from time to time. ps- Eddy is a wanker and i dont want to ride with him again!
