Lano - The big boys ride.

Secondly after my beginner pulled out at short notice a quick few phone calls were made and 5 of us lined up at lancelin to run a trip parallel to the beginners ride. A 9 AM start was organised and we made it with plenty of time to spare, 8.56. After fuel and bakery stop in the morning CRFAndrew met up with 2 mates who were going for a ride so we invited them along too. At Lano carpark Me, Drzallan, CRFAndrew met up with Mick450, CRFMichael + the 2 ringins Darran and Graham both on Drz's. 1 ktm, 1 crf, 5 DRz's. After the beginners ride left we suited up and left about 15min later with a trouble free run to Wedge. We stoped on the beach and met up with the others. Awesome to see so many bikes on the beach. Soon after leaving wedge I heard rumours of someone seeing about a dollar ten on their handle bars. The beach was flat with no rocky outcrops which has been evident on the past few trips. A few minor offs until Drzallan was seen pushing his bike along the track. He had a sudden loss of total electrics. Main fuse blown, put in new one bang that blew again. Traced problem to bare wire under where the rear tailight used to reside until he ripped it off last week. Quick bite to eat at cervantes and off we went for an game of dodge the 3 hundred and forty two 4WD's so care was taken and a cautious trip back. Finished about 14.30 for an awesome day.
