Hot as Frick Roo Ride

5 riders turned up for the ride. We set off at around 8am and headed towards Wedge. There was a hot north easterly wind blowing the whole time and lots of roos out and about. Just after the right hand turn at the fence line seen a few roos bouncing around and then hit a fairly decent sized one on the right hand side which bent up the radiator, screwed a few plastics. Everyone had a pretty clean ride thru to Wedge; then we decided to hit Cervantes. The trail had heaps of cap rock and a lot of bloody roos. Had lunch at Cervantes roadhouse (this is where we meet some gods who did Lano to Cervantes in 41 minutes on a Yamaha everything else is inferior). By Cervantes a few of the crusty riders were feeling a bit second hand; but we had a nice lunch, couple of cold drinks and refuelled; ooh and dont forget the fairytales we heard! We then headed back via the same tracks thru to the north rock at Wedge and hit the beach all the way back to Lancelin arriving around 2pm. ROTD should go to the guy who can do Lancelin to Cervantes in 41 minutes well at least him and his little green friends that ride in ships in the sky. (I thought we had finally meet Acid Gloves Eddy) No SOTD nothing dramatic enough to record on this outing Thanks to Ab for sweeping and Darin for taking some pictures.
