Hills Run report by Mick450

Pounce called a ride from the Lakes at 7.30 it was still dark when we got there at 7.00.
8 riders turned up, a new guy Jacko on a 1981 Yamaha XT500
Pounce didnt disappoint us with a terrific ride with a bit of everything thrown in, goat & fire trails, hill climbs, bit of mud and a few whoops to keep us all on our toes.
It rained a bit the night before, enough just to keep most of the dust down and leave a few puddles around. We clocked up around 100kms for the day and were back by noon.
We left the lakes at 7.30 after the usual riders meeting, along some of the trails we have ridden before and along a few new trails we hadnt been on before.
2 hill climbs a few of us had a go at them, one of them was just a rocky snotty hill.
CRFMichael picked up SOTD with some help from carlo who was stuck in a rut coming down a hill which caused CRFMichael to come off.
ROTD goes to Jacko on his XT500 for doing such a great job of keeping up and keeping the big girl upright.
Carlo was asking for ROTD but he has to ride better or bring a carton of beer and a pizza for the lead rider.
