Adventure Rally
Bainy:
Yea adventure rally was well done even if it was dusty cheers to the crew at adventure rally for the fix up in the loops it made it that much better. Thanks for the company fellow CQ's was a very entertaining and cold night, mybe a fire next year. Cheers for the dinner to Carlos. Andrew got a cooler bag prize to, i had to hear about it all the way home. till next time guys.

Darin:
The A. rally was a great event, a lot of work put in by the T & E club. My son did the junior event on the Sat. I did the blue loop and had a good run, managed to pass the group that started in front of me and had a fairly dust free run from that point on. At about the 40km mark not traveling that quickly, my front wheel hit something under some wood chippings and ducked off at 90 degrees. I went down hard and after finishing the loop decided to call it a day. The old body is a bit second hand today.

Choko:
I rocked up around six in the morning hoping to have a coffee with all the boys, but it was still dark and i could not see them anywhere. I decided i would park up in front of the scruteneering area, thinking this would be the place that everyone will be heading to anyway. I ended up seeing quite a few crustys of new and old. it was nice to meet drz tony for the first time and also good to see neil back out on the bike(even though he only did one lap due to a flat). It was great to catch up with a few old faces like brett and andy and always nice to see some regulars like carlos,Wrtony,Darin, pounce, wradrian,mick450, tommy, and wrex was in the crowd as was innertia and sorry if i missed anyone else. My main concern was where were the baboons, they were no where to be seen, i started to think they had pulled the pin, but i have been assured that they were out there somewhere.
Anyway i ended up doing both loops, it was bloody dusty at the start but once you found your spot in the pack it was sweet. The blue loop was awsome, some realy tight stuff and i saw quite a few crashes along the way.Did anyone else see the yamaha front fender plastics smashed into a million bits around a big tree?? that would have had to have hurt!!!! The red loop wasnt has enjoyable for me, it seemed a little to open and boring, but in saying that i still had alot of fun, gee that gravel was slippery!!
Was back to the car and loaded by about 2 oclock and didnt hang around for the raffle. All in all it was a fantastic event, the only thing that could have made it a bit better would have been rain, but hey...Bring on the West coast safari!!!!!

Gareth:
adventure rally was good not had a bike for a while.
Good to catch up hopefuly get out on rides more often now
can't belive how cold it was on sat night definitly need camp fire, just not the same huddled around battery lantern.
managed to do both loops no1 blue bit more challenging than no2 red back to pits just after 1pm
Thought i was out there on my own in afternoon
Well done to t&e for great organisation didn't really see much dust
hope pounce not caught pneumonia from sat night LOL

Mustard:
Adv Rally was great, credit must go to the T&E for the great organisation. Blue route was tackled first and had a good mix of terrain with a couple of logs thrown in for good measure. Red route seemed to have longer stretches of flowing single trails, and by this time lots of rocks thrown into the mix. Definitely not a day for riding with anyone though, needed to find your own air to minimise the dust. Cleaned out my airbox today, not a pretty sight.
