Thanks to H and Mrs H for opening their home to such a rabble - cheers!

Feeling a bit 2nd hand today and if things run true to form, it'll be worse tomorrow. I'll be stiff for sure.

Considering how much i have ridden on the tracks north of Lano, most of them as group roo sweeper, i always knew me and skippy were going to meet at some point and it finally happened. For those who know the track beyond the time trial area, you will know that it is faaaaast going and it was about 100m after one of those lovely left/right drop offs, as i took off at full loud down the next straight. It was 4th gear, so prolly 60-70km/h and i had no chance to react, as it smashed into my headlight and bars and it stopped the bike dead and me and the bike did a foward roll. I just remember looking up and seeing the bike in mid air above me, facing the wrong way and thinking "i am not riding that home today". But both me and the big Swede came out of it very well, with only a smashed headlight and mask and some lost skin to show for it.

I was very very lucky to walk away and that was a much bigger crash than the one that gave me a smashed shoulder, broken ribs, broken thumb and nine months on the sidelines - go figure! Funny thing was, i had another near miss about 2kms after we set off again. Why did none of the other guys wanna take over as lead i wonder???

Yes big thank you to H & Gail for your hospitality to celebrate our CQ Xmas bash and a great way to end our Crusty Quinns' 10th Year! Good company for another Gala Enduro event and the WAGS were particularly outstanding this year!

Just to wind it up 2010:
* The Crustys have had another great year meeting new like-minded riders along the way, some top rides with a great bunch of riders putting their hands up and calling the rides!
* Guest appearances by Colin & Jaybo on the night!
* The RTRA building on its small successes with the recent Government Grants, but we still need more members!
* A really big thank you to TigeR & Pounce for their Admin skills in keeping the website going and all their efforts behind the scenes which makes the Crustys the great group it is! (keep the donations coming to pay for the website)
* The fact we have CQ Chapters in the Mid-West and the Great South-West which is only going to make for even better rides in the future!
* Finally good luck to the CQ Thai Contingent heading off next week, have a great RIDE and do us proud!

Will put a few photos up shortly.

Have a great Xmas and New Year and hope to see yous all on the trails soon (PS if you get a Honda for Xmas you must have been very bad! LOL)
