Rider of the day craig

meet at lano off rd area 8am

after some confusion due to me posting the date as the 24th and not the 28th, Six riders in toll turned up for the perfect conditions for a ride, drzsteve was a no show blaming a dead battery on the drz, possibly the hog award with out turning up lol.
so with all the intros done we are all booted and hit the trails by 8 30, off we go and with a quick regroup at the top of the hill and off we go and its not too long before the first stop as jeff400 is flagging me down to tell me id lost my dun bag which wrex had picked up for me ( after a quick adjustment to make it a bit smaller after wrex had wore it lol )
So off we head and at the riffle range there are now gates that are pad locked, after a bit of discussion we head to the beach and up the beach for a few ks and the head back in land were we pic up some tracks heading north to another locked gate so back on the beech heading north and then back inland to the black stuff, that now goes into wedge so short ride though wedge and onto the beech for 20 mins

We decide to pic up the old tracks that we used to go to wedge on which we do and after quite a few ks we come across the new coast rd and cross the rd picking up some more tracks which takes up to the rd again, we go up the rd for a few ks and we head west though a bit of bush affected by bush fire and end up at the riffle range. Then we head back towards lano or so we think hitting the coast rd again, a quick uwi with wrphill leading with the gps this is were wrex has his sotd with the front wheel coming down on a loose rock and sending him bush a bit of damage to the the bike but but he is a good and keen to go, so off again and back to lano where we reflect on a great day of riding load up the bikes and head to the pie shop for a feed and head home from there.

Had a great day back in the saddle for nearly 2 yrs, we covered about 90kms all up, big thanks to wrex if he hadn't been there we would have done a lot more back tracking cant believe how much its changed up there. and the huski does sound good.

till next craig
