Allens sand, hill climbs, and whoops
From what Allen was saying his planned "quiet ride" morphed into nearly 20 keen riders all out for a blast. Sorry if i missed anyone but heaps of new faces for me: Allen, H, drz Steve, Tommy, hooters, mackley, Slade, paulb, wr Ross, kpphotos, xr400 dude, new guy crf 450, stack of day exc dude, and a couple more sorry again. Booted an sorted we all left the OVT shortly after 8am, following Allens Suzuki works drz 400 (fastest drz ever, besides roleys) awesome trails a magic mix of windy trails thru the trees and wet sandy whoopy tracks with frequent regroups at Allen's hill climb spots....
...these hill climb spots varied between easy rolling to rutted out snotty nasty mountains. many laughs and quite a few photo's, and a couple of funny lay downs an loop outs, and a throw your bike at the nearest victim (mackley) ghostie by me. along the way our crash of the day exc dude had a pretty big get off to get the trophy. with allen leading and mainly H sweeping we turned round and pulled up at the servo at yanchep for fuel and a drink. more great tracks followed with some flat out whoopy sections to blast along sandy but due to the rain a bit loamy and good riding. so all in all a great day, no injurys, no flats, and no real drama's at all. thanks again allen a great days riding capped off with a couple of quiet beers at the ovt, magic.
