Rider of the day Tommy
Stack of the day husq mike
Crusty Home Of Great Motorcycles.
124klm's - 100 of which was single trail with lots of whoops & water.
Tommy excelled again keeping everyone happy with a great ride. His sadistic nature came through at the end of the day though with everyone knackered, 5 minutes from the cars, he shoots off onto another single trail & mighty deep whoops.
If no one disagrees, Mike will get both ROTD for always on the gas, passing everyone like a silent Ninja all the while trying to record it all for posterity & SOTD as he fell more times today than he did all season. Best one was he hit a tree I believe. (over ruled by the group, so ROTD goes to Tommy)
Pounce.

tommy called this one only four days after the harvy hills two dayer, so with some last minute bike maintainance we were off to meet the crew at the rock inn.there was perfect conditions after the rain through the week. about 5 ks in i came across clean man bogged deep in the mud after choosing the wrong rut. it took four of us to extract it from the thick goo.
a bit further on we came to the mud hole where col mac and i drowned our bikes a couple of years earlier. ther were already two bikes stuck in there so we detoured around it and waited for a while then mike and i went back on foot to take photos and help out. this time the back wheel was firmly anchored to the earths crust and four of us couldnt budge it.the rest of the crew came back and with four lifting the back wheel, two on the bars and two pulling the forks it finally came out. lucky for andrew there were enough riders to get it out.
the rest of the ride to n.b.was realy nice single track with nicely bermed twist and turns, lots of big woops and a few sandy sections.
the usual lunch and refuel at the roadhouse and back into the bush for the return trip on some different trails with a couple of hill climbs to keep the crowd entertained.
r.o.t.d. to tommy, very well lead ride. no s.o.t.d. this time unless getting stuck big time counts then andrew gets it.
Jacko
