Well here we are in Nepal, myself, jeff, his uncle and mate, been on the road for 11 days now with 17 to go, rented the Royal Endfield 500s in New Delhi [India] and after a cruise through the border mountains we crossed into Nepal, its been a challenge on these roads with the madness and the road conditions, its hard, rough and dirty work at times, especially on the mountain dirt roads on these ancient machines, real bone shakers, had a lot of flat tyres and a few minor hiccups but all good, had some great food and sampled some top beers, heading up to the snowy peaks tomorrow and then on to Kathmandu.....Nameste from Pokhara

Well me, Jeff and co are back from our 26 day ride through India and Nepal, its been one hell of an adventure, the Royal Endfield Bullets got us home and we got them home, through some of the madest roads and traffic of any asian country ive been too, the roads in places are full of cows, goats, dogs, chooks, monkeys, carts, people, bikes, trucks, jeeps and buses with 60 inside and 30 on the roof going flat out with horn blasting on the wrong side of the road, no road rules, so thats the way you have to ride, blend in, go for it and ride to survive, but out in the countryside and mountains its a riders paradise with great senery and winding mountain roads that can be smooth as silk or as rough as guts, stayed in some great little towns and had a good laugh, met some great locals, didnt see many westerners, very primative, the electricity was only on for 2 hours a day, dope plants growing wild on the side of the road, went for a 10k walk through the national park looking for tigers, the guide gave us a stick and some advice in case we stumbled upon one, managed to get to 4000m, we had to walk the last 300m and it took us 3 hours, bloody hard work at that altitude and steep, but we made it to the snow, wild country, got lost for hours in a sea of carnage trying to return the bikes in Delhi until a turban clad old timer on a scooter led us home, kickstart only on the 500s, so its surprising no leg injurys as they needed a good kick, now its time to recover, ill get a few pics up later.....cheers

Jeff
