Olympic Ride
The goal of the Olympic movement is to spread the Olympic spirit all over the world - the spirit of mutual understanding and the spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play .
The Olympic ride had: Mutual Understanding This would be the group at the top of the hill giving understanding and respect to the following riders. Swimming Driest winter since when????? I pushed the red button and it started raining and seemed to follow the same cloud around for most of the day. Gavin said it was the wettest he has been and he didn't do a river crossing. No Dust. Jumps Some of the air achieved while attempting one hill climbs would give them a qualifying height for the jumps. Great work lads. Shot putt More than one rider commented about the chunks of sand roosting from a couple of new rear tyres. Gymnastics Watching Lindsay gracefully roll down the hill was worth gold and I think it was Azza clearing the parallel bars on the last leg home. Hurdles Its best to be the first rider over a pine tree hurdle as the grip (bark) comes of quickly making it a slippery pole......the benefits of leading. Synchronized riding Jeff and Todd did some synchronized dance on the side of a hill. Easty on the corner tells tales of other synchronized dancing back in the field. Sorry I missed the closing ceremony.I believe some Olympic spirit was shared. The head of the Olympic Financial Committee had requested a meeting. Thanks Crustys See you in four years. |
