Stack of the day WRRob
Seven met at Drakesbrook Tavern today : Clean Man , Husq Mike,Tommy ,Pounce, WR Steve,Ross and WR Rob.
Found some great loamy country , with plenty of grip a few easy hills and one mongrel hill which claimed most of us.
At about the 37kms mark we we getting warmed up when Rob hit a large well placed rock and had the inevitable endo.
One broken wrist later and with a bit of Jarrah and bandage for splint, we started to head to the main road.I had the Hog so I was elected to carry Rob on the back.
Apart from a few minor hiccups, such as having seven cars and seven riders (with one on the way to Hospital). It all worked out well. Thanks to Clean Man who went home picked up his KTM beast and rode back down to pick up Rob's ute and trailer.
I don't think there was any disputing the SOTD - WR Rob.
Hope all gets sorted Rob.Looks like a rest until next year.

It was a good start to the day but ended how none of us want. Basically was going down a hill on a perfect hard pack track - didn't even have any loose gravel, let alone rocks. i was cruising down the hill taking it steady (unusual for me) and watching Clean Man about 50m in front of me. I went over a gutter, got a small amount of air and the front wheel landed on top of literally the ONLY rock on the track which was ablout the size of a backetball which then spat me off over the bars and i think i got my hand caught in the barkbuster. Moral of the story - don't day dream and stay focused. Go hard (within your ability) or go home.

I elected not to have surgery in Bunbury hospital, got an appointment today with private surgeon and should have operation on Wednesday for plate and screws same as Pounce had last year.

I hope someone got some photos??? Post them up. I'll put up x-ray when i can.

Thanks a lot for everyone there on the day! Everyone played a part to help out, cant thank you guys enough. Mike & Ross - you guys looked a bit queezy in Harvey Hospital when the Doc started pulling and prodding and the morphine was doing fack all haha.
WR Rob
