Mid West Blow out the Cob Webs Ride

Some brightspark with a belly full of dutch courage last night answered a call and said yeah sure we would love to go for a ride, then said brightspark decided the kids needed checking on took off up the stairs and never came back leaving Bushy, Merv and Jimmy to consume the rest of the dutch courage.
Sunday arvo came around after a very long Sunday Morning and I think we were hoping no one would turn up but they did. Leaving from Wombats house a quick blast down to the Drummonds beach onto the lovely white sand and a quick trip out past Coronation out to the shack was a pretty good run with only a few near misses and no one eating any sand, a welcome breather at Coronation was welcomed by those of us that have indulged in the finer lifestyle over the Christmas new year break and suffering from last nights after affects, out to the shack, turned around and headed home. Getting a few hours in the saddle and gaining a lot of confidence saw me still at the back but a lot closer than I have been able to stay in sight of the back of Wombats bike, cruised back to Wombats for a cold beer and listened to him whinge about how bad his bike is handling and that's why we could stay closer, couldn't resist mentioning that he could fix it by selling the Orange one and buying a nice shiny Blue one. All in all fun ride with no broken bones or bruised ego's.
