Thanks for calling the ride. Players: Tommy, Husq Mike ,Rooster Mick and Andy. I was getting too fat and lazy,needed to get a sweat up, so had to have a ride. Good short stint , I guess about 70-80ks. No real issues apart from a poor baby wallaby which got in the road of Andy's DRZ. Hope the ribs is ok Andy? Don't worry you have plenty more (: A bit dusty in spots , but with only four it was very manageable. Love the tracks in the area and can't wait for first rains. Tommy thanks for giving me back the helper wheels.i am sure they will find a new owner soon. Love the way the KTM 300 goes over eveything. Clean man , you have to get yours out , so I can have anothe ride. Husq Mike Thanks for the ride today Andy I needed it as its been a long time off the Yamaha and I think I needed the training wheels for most of the day Tommy Thank you gentlemen, great riding today. Have to put ROTD foward for Rooster Mick, he was flying past me many times (okay, that's not too hard) but it looked like dancing on the 300, sweet to watch. Sorry Skippy, didn't see you out there although I saw plenty of your mates. Came out of high bushes on my left and all I saw was a blur, brakes and down like a sack of stuff. Whopping headache and a sharp pain from the ribs when I move. Can't stress the importance of neck braces too much and glad I had mine on today. Andy Sounds like a good ride. Sorry I had to pull out. Had bad luck. Picked up 2 flats in the first 4km's :-( Did not want to hold up and burden the rest of the ride so I opted just to limp back to the car. :-( 110km odd drive to ride point, 4km into the ride. And them back again. LOL Long way to go for 4km's riding. ;-) But what I saw The Lakes area riding looks awesome... Next time will be better... I hope... Thanks anyway guys. RDJ    |
