Magnificent Seven Ride
(Magnificent Seven Ride) Players( ( Skullman Mick530 Twoody Harv Wayknovb RJD Rothy ) Sunday 19th May Riders Report Skullman post a ride sat morn for a Woky Wide , on Sunday ,meet 8am Woky pub , 7 players turned up on a Magnificent day , drove to parking spot looking good plenty of water around and no dust , Boot up riders brief order of the day was caution , going to be people setting up for next weeks Av/Rally and watch out for black clay with a green ting very slippery stuff , Skullman set off leading single track stuff nice n tight plenty of grip over the road heading nth towards all the big hill climbs , setting a cracking pace , flowing well no hold ups , 1st regroup all good , meet up with 4,5 riders practicing for next week , track was looking great , who ever is going down for the rally won't be disappointed in it next week , we ride a bit of the track , then S/man off looking for them hill climbs , couple small off , everyone riding good , all make it up the hills , not to slippery yet from all the rain , b,ful country out that way , plenty of roo's around , 2nd regroup drink couple pic's and a yarn . Harv takes sweeping dutys over from Waynovb , more single track come round corner 1st big off the day Skullman on the deck , didn't look good , got crossed up and end with face on the front tyre , over the handle bars , wind and pride knock out of him , spoke to soon saying yes that will be Sotd , head off again all good sum double track full noise flatout 4th 5th gear stuff , come round the corner to see RJD and bike flying through the air , look very very ugly , RJD had hit the black clay with the green ting in it at about 80ks an hr skid marks for 50 mts , RJD was laying there not looking to good smashed his brand new 1st ride helmet carbon fibre , back sub frame on bike bar's all bent up , got his breath back no broken bones don't know how not ! Was that ugly it would of made an onion cry ! That stuff is like riding on KY gel on Vaseline !!! Local knowledge helps ,, Boyz ride back straight en up the bike , suggest we ride back to cars for RJD , but no he's fine to go on tuff stuff O to be young again , we head back to cars refuel bite to eat 70ks up , Waynovb and Mick530 found or made some more tracks last time they rode out there Waynvb leads and Rothy take's over sweeping duty s , Wayknovb takes us to sum very hilly goat tracks brilliant stuff luv it , then we end more single track stuff back to the cars all up 100ks , great effort to Waynovb and Mick530 for coming along after an Ovt ride sat sand and whoops , them 350's must be the ducks nuts , great to meet new guy Twoody a local Eaton boy and a fellow truck driver ( got to be a good bloke ) Big thanks to Skullman for calling and leading 70ks then Waynovb leading the last 30ks , great way to finish the day and thanks to Waynovb Harv Rothy for sweeping dutys ,a couple of beers back at the car , all good , couple of us went back to the Drakesbrook Tav for that ripper Sunday roast the food and service is allways the best , sounds like an plug for them , the place never disappoints , No ROTD , RJD SOTD thanks Admin Skullman has put some pic's up thanks guys , cheers Rothy :))
