The gates are coming
Riders: JNR, Fueltanker Allen, Acid gloves Eddy
After calling the traditional Friday skimmpy ride earlier in the week Nathan had to pull out at the very last minute due to babysitting duties so Acid gloves Eddy stepped up to the plate and tagged along for a blat.. Fueltanker Al knows his way round up there and was happy to show us some new tracks out on the otherside of the OVT, so we set off and headed down the road for abit only to find a newly fitted big steel gate in our way with no way under it or around it, so we chucked a u-turn and headed back to go down the usaual whooped out section over the road from the OVT to get the blood pumping only to find another big steel gate in our way but we managed to work our way past this one and onto our ride we go. Fueltanker Al took me on some awesome tight twisty tracks that had not been riden on for awhile and onto the hill tops for a bit and into the petrol station for a quick top up and off we go again in search of more new tracks as once again had not been ridden on. We rode for about another hour and a half and back to the station for some lunch, from there Al took me on some more awesome tracks that are virgin tracks for me and was very inpressed with what we found and onto the whooped out section back to the pub, we broke one of the skimmpy run rules and didnt stay for a beer as Al had to be back and try get a tyre for todays ride but unfortunately had no luck and couldn`t make it, but i drove through the drive through for a traveller for the road trip home and quenched me hard earned thrist on yet another great days ride. |
