Rothy's Sunday Session
Rothy called aNorth Bannister ride and five regulars and a newbie...Ric-Berg...rocked up. By 0830 we were off with Rothy leading and me sweeping. We hooked into some good single track along with the obligatory whoops. A regroup after about 30 kms and Rothy is feeling a bit knacked so he takes a break sweeping whilst Scratch has a crack at leading. We all know sort of where were going so no chance of getting lost. Another break then I lead off on a short hilly loop. Ric-Berg then leads off heading South towards the road. Despite the rain its getting quite dusty in places. We cross over the road and into some fast track so it was fastest away first and hold on. Onto some partially cut single track thru the hills and a few creek crossings. Back to the fast track and we've got 85 kms on the clock. We finish off with some whoops, single track and a few more whoops. Back at the cars and we've done just shy of 100kms and me and Rothy are shot birds. A few beers at the cars a few more at the Jarrahdale Pub and a top day was had by all. WaynoVB.
