Capel Capers
Called a ride at Capel on the Sunday and with the sun finally coming out we caught up with Ktm Shaun waiting at the servo with his new 350 EXC. We left the servo and headed to the ride spot just outside of Capel where we took off into some open trails before heading into some of the Capel 200 single trails and Enduro sections. Still a fair bit of water around but all the water crossings pretty easy. Back into some open trail so as Shaun can open up the new Kato. Back into more of the Capel 200 single tracks which is where Kyron came unstuck on a slimy section of muddy track. I didn’t see it happen but apparently the dismount look good. After picking the bike out of the mud and straitening up a few parts we where back into the single trails. Making our way back to the cars I took the guys to a section of the old Capel 200 which I’m sure if they never saw again they would be happy, single trail that is sand and heaps of whoops that certainly brings on the arm pump if you have ridden for awhile. After a bit of a breather it was back to the cars. All in all a good ride with a bit of everything and with enough kay’s to run Shaun’s bike in.
Good to see Shaun on a bike again and I’m sure his new KTM 350 will do the job Riders on the day KtmShaun DazzaM and newbie KryonM and friend Glyn who came along for the ride. I’ll post some pictures Cheers Dazza    |
