Holland Track
Mick450 & Tommy great call for a hardcore Adventure Ride to the Holland Track! Well lead by both of you especially the tracks from Perth and the Woodline Trail. Learnt lots and had a great time with a great bunch of blokes. Though the heat was a challenge today - fell into the pool when I got home.
Roley I have wanted to ride the Holland track for a number of years and finally got to do it this weekend. Thanks to Mick and Tommy for turning in on again. The tracks were awesome, the company was great, camping out was perfect. Around 1400 kms door to door in three days with Sunday the highlight. One day I will learn how to hold a DR650 in a forward direction in soft sand. Lots of butt clinching moments but we all got home in one piece. Cloin great weekend of riding the holland track, great camping, great company, and theres still a lot more tracks in the area to be ridden.cant wait till may. Jacko Thanks for coming guys, it was a great ride. I think we all learned a thing or two or three or four Mick450 Another "Bucket List" item ticked. What a way to fill a long weekend, it was only after reporting back to the family I realized how much we achieved in three days. You couldn't ask for a better bunch of riding partners.....accept...you know who! Always someone to ride up front in the clean air and take on the traffic and volunteers to sweep and pick up Tenere's and DR's scatterded along the track. Hey! How heavy is a fully loaded Tenere? The highlight for me was one section of track that was like a slalom course, the DR hugged every turn. Then I hit a rutted sand patch and it all went to cr_p again. Oh! the Cave Hill swim was hard to beat. Thanks lads, ready to ride the big one, see you in May, or at Anaconda.
