West Coast Ride Park 2/8/2014

JNR made the call that he was going to the West Coast Ride Park so myself, KyronM and Pete450 headed out there as well. When we woke up on Saturday morning it was raining but by the time we got out to the ride park it stopped and turned out to be a nice sunny day. We caught up with JNR and hit the trails. A lot of the old trails are there but Staino has put some new ones in that link up to the original tracks and has cut out some of the sections that have been cut up pretty bad.
The red loop seems to offer a better selection of trails. The Triple Treat is still the same except the ruts going up the hills are getting pretty deep and Staino has done a bit of work to the MX track making it a lot better.
We all had a good day’s ride with no major offs considering some of the trails where quite slippery. There was a young kid that came off and hurt himself on the MX track and got a ride on a chopper to hospital, but our crew was all good.
Good to catch up with JNR and to hit the trails, and will see you at the Capel 200.
