Don't Rev the Tits off it
PLAYERS: Nathan. JB and JNR.
SOTD: JB Was great conditions for a ride this time of year. The guys met up and Nathan was sporting his new bike, a big KTM530EXCR. JB was introduced, as he is considered a newbie till he gets his 10 rides up? Anyway, good to meet you mate, good to have another enthusiastic ex-pat Pom on board :-) JNR rocks up and warns he had only 30mins sleep the night before helping out an old lady. We head off and soon work out JB has the heebie jeebies, a condition many Englishman suffer from when hitting the West Coast sand. The amazing part was JNR cured the Englishman's condition by winding up his Fork Compression and to be honest, it was like watching a different rider after that. All of a sudden we had a proper rider with us. We head out to Wilbinga hitting the ridgetops on the way back to the OVT and low and behold, MAN DOWN! It was JB! and he had cleaned up his shoulder gaining him SOTD! A couple of Panadol and a few beers at the Pub and all was good again after over a 100kms in the saddle.  |
