A Wet Monday in Febuary

Well sorry to say but it was a late call for this one but to good to refuse with that rain that hit the night before, We started of from CraigC place formerly known as HusabergCraig570 so if admin would kindly join the rides that CraigC & HusabergCraig570 have done & join them together as he forgot the pass word for HusabergCraig that would be much appreciated. Thanks Admin. When we hit the sand there was not a spec of dust in the air & I was glad cause following Craig on the big 570 with a little 250 was a challange I was up for cause in a week I go for another knee op & wanted to make the most of this unusual rain in Feb we have had & the KTM has had a full rebuild & I was scared to get it dirty. The single trails we hit where awesome & much to our gladness the tractor has been through the bush to clear the fire breaks & has taken out the massive whoops that make your arms fall off. We ended up with about 90kms of riding as CraigC was wearing down due to lack of fitness as we had a very fast pace going on. Once we got back to Craigs place for a couple of beers the gods opened up & let it rip once again & we looked at each other & was tempted to head back out but due to other commitments we called it a day.   |
