The Happy Birthday ride
Thx Col for your call/lead, Tommy for your lead & Jacko for the perfect sweep, and all the players.
Another top ride, heaps of twists n turns, lots of Km's for a shortish ride ;) I recon I travelled a few tracks one way and a few back the other as well, they work fine both ways 4 me. Loved the beer at the end of the ride, thanks Tommy (I owe you) & glad I'm so I didn't have to ride those last tracks alone, I might still be looking for the rock inn. Looking forward to seeing you all out on the trails again soon. Mat Thanks Lads, Just on 500ks by the time I rolled into the driveway. Not bad for a short day. Thanks Col for the call, Tommy for the lead and Jacko for the entertainment watching a police car trying follow the powerful XT for 5kms. He tried hard to ping you and all I could do was sit back and watch. Lee added some experience, in the form of scratches, to the big KTM. A gutsy effort Great tracks. Thanks! Fuel Tanker Al. dont worry al i spotted it straight away. thanks guys for another great tour of the hills. good to get the old xt out occasionally.its a pitty about lee's nice new adventure r, looking a bit banged up by the end. Jacko Why was it called a Birthday ride - Two of the riders were doing their best to please their wife's on their birthdays by going out riding and leaving them for some peace and quiet. It nearly bought tears to my eyes!! Lee found out what i was like to lay the big KTM down and ended up with a few scratches an dents. Tommy did what he does best and led an awesome ride down through some great country and brilliant trails. Nice work buddy. The day would not have been anywhere as near as good without you. Colin. |
