Well I’m back from my two week bike ride over in Cambodia. I had a great time and got to ride some awesome tracks and trails through the jungle and farm land. The tour was very well organized and because our group of riders were all experienced and have ridden together before, we got to see more of the harder tracks thru the jungle sections and stay in some more out-of-the-way villages. We also got to stay in some pretty flash hotels as well when we got to major places. It was very hot and humid over there with most days riding done in high 30 degree heat, which also meant that most trails were very dusty except thru the jungle tracks which were just hot and humid.
I managed to score a WR 250F for the tour, as the rest rode TT250R. All bikes received a thrashing, but made it through which was quite surprising.
The Cambodian people are very friendly and the food was excellent and the beer cheap. Most nights we couldn’t eat and drink anymore, only to cost around $10US each.
Thanks Pounce for the info you gave me. Worked a treat as I managed to not to get the squirts as quite a few of our group did, but you don’t stand much of a chance not to get sick when the local tour guides get crook from eating the local food.
Ill post a few pictures.
So looking forward to hitting the tracks here now and hopefully we get some rain soon as I’m over riding in the dust.
Cheers
