Need More Rain

Riders DazzaM, KyronM, Martyn, Twoody, and non-Crusties Eric & Jiffy We all met at 9am at Gelorup servo with Jiffy bringing out his new Husky 300, which was still being run-in. All took off from usual spot, found a groove early and riding at a good pace. I took out a small member of wildlife with the rock wallaby being worse off. Everybody was cruising along and keeping an eye out as more roos and emus were hanging around. Pace was good with just enough stops for everyone to have a breather. Conditions were good but surprisingly drying out. Some sections were dusty even after all the rain we had last weekend. Hit all the favourite single trails with all of us at some point having bars touching the ground - luckily no injuries. Had a break at the crossroads where we met up with a few other riders out enjoying the conditions. Back to the cars by 2pm for an early finish. All up 90kms which was just enough for the 2-strokes as we all hit reserves on the way back. Thanks again to all for a good day's ride. DazzaM   |
