Wet wet and wetter.
Well a damp return to Perth for me.
Clean man called a late ride and as I was raring to go, was first at the roadhouse.
Toren and clean man were next and as we were about to leave acid glove rocked in.
We set off into the rain with acid gloves reluctantly sweeping.
Covered most of the usual tracks and got soaked,Toren tried to uproot one of our native blackboys (sorry I was born before that name changed) .As expected ,he came off second best as well as breaking CM's headlight.
Not a good day for Toren ,as on one of the open wet lands, he poured on too much of the 450 throttle and lost grip on the back wheel (and the front wheel).Bit of a heavy landing , but not serious to stop us continuing on.After half an hour though , It was starting to get a bit cold and acid gloves was sulking to get home.
We did a couple more single tracks before we got sick of the whinging at the back and headed back.
Clean man and and I had a countery at Sawyers valley to finish off. RIP TE310.Long live the EXC300.
Thanks Clean and Toren for the ride.Acid gloves - stay at home next time.
HM

My five cents worth.

HM rocks up on the mighty 300, gives it a kick and nothing happens. Then that look of embarrassment (that we all have felt before) comes over his face. Then he thinks, did I put the spark plug lead back on when I changed the plug out?? Guess what no he didn’t TOTD to HM. First kick and we were away.

Traction in few areas was nonexistent as CM found out heading down two wheel track with HM behind him, left and right full lock on the steering with the rear wheel trying to overtake the front wheel. CM reckons skill saved the day, BUT HM reckon say pure luck. Gotta agree with that! HM reckoned it looked great from where he was sitting. Outa control!!

We managed to link up a couple good familiar single tracks and one very slippery one which caught Toran out with the rear trying to overtake the front wheel, resulted in a high side when the rear found some traction all of sudden. End result was a very sore knee for Toran, but he managed to ride the rest of the day. SOTD to Toran450.

All up 100kms for the day, ended up being a very wet, but a very enjoyable days ride.
