Is the pub open
Well after getting to the OVT whilst is was pissing down and standing under the patio all thinking: well the pubs not open so we better get into it, we got all geared up under the patio and once we were ready the rain stopped and the conditions were perfect so we had a quick chat and i told Inver easy on the whoops and sand eh as i have not been on a bike in ages, he looked at me with that smirk and said you`ve come to the wrong place as he laughed.
Me and Gavin wanted to do the sweep duties as we knew we were gonna be slower than Inver but once we all got going down the nice tight single tracks with a few hills climbs that Inver lead down with absolutely no dust we were all thinking what a day for it, we swapped and changed bikes to give each other a feel of different bikes and set ups, Gavin was lovin me KTM and was riding alot faster and smoother while i was at the back chugging away, we made it to the servo for a quick bite and refuel and headed off straight back into it with only one shower during the ride, with the houses getting built everywhere out that way we wanted to cut in a fresh track to give us more riding options in the future but we were running out of time as we had to be back at the cars by 2pm so we took off on the usual road access to join up the tracks and will get back there to do that another day. Thanks for the ride and well lead Inver and Gavin for sweeping with me, I was glad to get back into it with the Crusty guys again, will put a couple of pics later lads as im of to a bucks night.
