slippery when wet
after a bit of texting to and fro rob mike and I decided to call a hills ride. The weather report looked promising.....but they lied! we had a casual 9am start and as it turns out t'was just the 3 of us. 3 of us huddled in mike's car watching the rain come down, hard. We grabbed an opportunity between showers to gear up and unload the bikes and head off into the storm! It pissed with rain all morning with a few gaps of ok weather, but not many. A pretty cool (hehe!) uneventful ride usual trails and a quite a lot of more open stuff, which suited us just fine. back at the cars around 1pm got changed in the rain and a quick beer whilst doing the debrief. All in all a nice quick blast home in time to watch the dockers. Oh yeah, on the way home down the hill, someone had parked a Honda civic in the bush and not in a good way!! whoops.
